1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Weyt — Weight Log Tracker (the “App”), provided by DALVIK d.o.o. (“Dalvik”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Weyt lets you record weight, body measurements, goals, notes, and progress photos, view trends, and sync your information across supported Android devices.
By using Weyt, you acknowledge the practices described here. You decide which body information and photos to enter. You may remove individual records or delete your account and synced content as described below.
2. Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller for Weyt is:
DALVIK d.o.o.
Zeleno Polje 9
31000 Osijek, Croatia
support@dalvik.studio
3. Data we process
Account information
When you sign in with Google, Weyt receives the information Google makes available for authentication, such as your name, email address, profile image, and a unique account identifier. Firebase Authentication uses this information to create and maintain your Weyt account.
Information you add to Weyt
Depending on how you use the App, this may include:
- weight, height, body fat percentage, and other body measurements;
- weight goals, dates, history, preferences, and units;
- notes you add to entries; and
- progress photos you capture or choose from your device.
Sensitive information: body measurements and related entries may reveal information about your health. Weyt processes them only to provide the tracking and synchronization features you choose to use. Weyt is not a medical service and does not use this information for advertising.
Purchase and entitlement information
If you buy a Weyt subscription or lifetime entitlement, Google Play processes your payment. Weyt and RevenueCat receive purchase-related information such as the product selected, subscription or entitlement status, transaction dates, app user identifier, and Google purchase token. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Usage, device, and diagnostic information
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are enabled by default. They may process app interactions, session information, app version, device model, operating-system version, language, technical identifiers, crash stack traces, diagnostic logs, and approximate location inferred from an IP address. We use this information to understand broad usage patterns, diagnose problems, protect the App, and improve performance. We do not use it for third-party advertising.
Support communications
If you contact us, we process your email address and the content of your message so we can respond and maintain an appropriate support history.
4. How and why we use data
We process information to:
- create and authenticate your account;
- save, display, synchronize, and restore the information you add;
- provide charts, goals, progress views, and paid features;
- verify purchases and manage Pro entitlements;
- diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, secure the App, and improve reliability;
- measure aggregate product usage and improve Weyt; and
- respond to support, legal, and data-rights requests.
Where European data-protection law applies, our legal bases include performing our contract with you by providing the features you request, our legitimate interests in keeping Weyt reliable and secure, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required by applicable law. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your body information, notes, or progress photos for advertising or marketing profiles.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We use a limited number of providers to operate Weyt:
- Google Firebase provides authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, analytics, and crash reporting. Your synced entries and photos are stored using Firebase services. Read Firebase Privacy and Security.
- RevenueCat processes device, app-user, transaction, and entitlement information so paid features can be activated and restored. Read RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Play distributes the App, authenticates purchases, and processes payments under your Google account and Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
These providers process data on our behalf or independently where their own terms apply. We may also disclose information if required by law, necessary to protect users or our rights, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not allow providers to use your synced body data or photos for their own advertising.
6. International data transfers
Dalvik is based in Croatia. Some providers, including Google and RevenueCat, may process information outside Croatia or the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by recognized legal mechanisms such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, and provider security commitments.
7. How long we keep information
Account information, synced entries, and progress photos are generally kept while your Weyt account is active. When you delete an entry, photo, or your account, we begin deleting the related active-service data. Limited copies may remain for a short period in protected backups or where retention is required for security, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.
Firebase Crashlytics generally retains crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before removal begins. Analytics retention follows our configured Firebase settings. RevenueCat and Google Play may keep transaction records for their contractual, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations even after you delete your Weyt account.
Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request and maintain necessary business records.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. Firebase encrypts supported service data in transit and at rest, and access to cloud data is restricted through authentication and security rules. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your Google account and device credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. Your choices and rights
You may:
- view, correct, add, or delete your entries and progress photos in the App;
- revoke Weyt’s Google account access through your Google account settings;
- use the Delete account command in Weyt’s settings to delete your account and synced Firebase content; or
- contact us to request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights.
If you no longer have the App installed, email support@dalvik.studio from the address connected to your account and include “Weyt account deletion” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Full instructions are available on our account and data deletion page.
Deleting your cloud account does not automatically remove copies stored locally on devices. You can remove local data through the App or by clearing/uninstalling it. Purchase history may remain with Google Play and RevenueCat as explained above.
If you are in the EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Croatia, the supervisory authority is the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
10. Children’s privacy
Weyt is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If local law requires parental authorization for a minor to use an online service, a parent or guardian must provide that authorization. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
11. This website
The public dalvik.studio website uses no analytics, advertising trackers, contact forms, or non-essential cookies. Like most hosted websites, infrastructure may temporarily process IP addresses and basic request information to deliver pages, maintain security, and diagnose availability problems.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Weyt changes or when legal requirements evolve. The “Last updated” date above shows when revisions were published. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide additional notice through the App where appropriate.
